Dear fellow radiographers and radiation therapists, 

It is my pleasure to welcome you to this year’s ASM, centered on the timely and challenging theme of Value-Based Care: Cheap, Fast, and Good. In healthcare, we are often told we can only choose two. Yet radiographers and radiation therapists are expected to deliver all three—every day, within increasingly complex and resource-constrained environments.

Value-based care is not about cutting corners. It is about delivering the right care, at the right time, with outcomes that truly matter to patients and the healthcare system. As imaging and radiation therapy professionals, our work directly influences diagnostic accuracy, treatment precision, patient experience, safety, and cost.

This conference brings together leaders, practitioners, and innovators to explore how we can deliver meaningful value through smarter workflows, appropriate use of technology, strong clinical judgement, and sustainable workforce practices. Through keynote sessions, case studies, and practical discussions, we will examine what value-based care looks like in real clinical settings.

Equally important, this conference is a space to connect, share challenges, and learn from one another. On behalf of the Radiography Society, thank you for being part of this important conversation.
