CPD FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Currently CPD points are voluntary but may be mandatory in future for renewal of allied health professionals’ practising certificate.
2. Do I need to be a SSR member to get CPD points?No you do not have to be a SSR member.
3. How can I apply for CPD points for programmes held in my institution?Continuing Professional Development is highly encouraged by Allied Health Professions Council. If you have an educational talk within your institution, you may send in your application for programme validation to SSR at academic@ssr.org.sg using the following form. SSR will indicate the amount of CPD points obtained for the talk. Please send in your applications at least 3 weeks prior to the programme as part of the processing time. Do refer to the workflow for programme validation.
4. How do I know how many CPD points I have?Individuals should keep their track of their own CPD records. Please refer to SSR list of approved activities for CPD points. We recommend you to keep your documentations as proof of your CPD activities.
5. How do I modify my CPD application once its already approved?You may send us another programme validation form (Form A) with the updated programme up to 7 days after the programme date, with the Reference Number of the previous approved validation. Email to academic@ssr.org.sg and we will get back to you within 3 weeks.
6. How to I publicise my talk or workshop with SSR after SSR has approved the validation?After your talk/workshop is approved, we will send you our CPD logo for you to place on your programme flyer. The Singapore Society of Radiographers offers advertising services on our website and Facebook page. For more information please email external.relations@ssr.org.sg.
