AGM cum Dialogue Session [25 March 2017]

Posted on 15 Mar 2017
Posted by SSR Assistant Secretary

In conjunction with our first Annual Scientific Meeting, SSR Annual General Meeting (AGM) would be held on 25th March, Saturday. A dialogue session would be held during the AGM to discuss certain issues regarding registration and we hope to hear from you!

Registration for radiographers and radiation therapists started on 15th April last year. All practising radiographers and radiation therapists currently working in Singapore now need to be registered with Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) before they can practise in Singapore.

As your professional body representing both the diagnostic radiographers and radiation therapists, we seek to better understand your concerns or issues that you may have regarding registration, continuous professional development and how we can move forward as a profession after registration.

Topic: Post-registration: What’s Next? Do you think radiographers/ radiation therapists would be vulnerable to lawsuits after registration? What is the impact on manpower? How can I get my CPD points when it becomes mandatory?

Venue: Singapore Institute of Technology @ Dover, Academic Plaza

Day/Date: Saturday, 25 March 2017

Time: 1230 - 1430
