Radiate & Elevate: Continuing Professional Education In Radiography & Radiotherapy

Continuing Professional Education (CPE) will be mandatory to ensure that healthcare professionals remain current in their knowledge and skills, thereby upholding high standards of clinical practice. This session will provide an overview of CPE and its various categories. It will also explore strategies to help individuals successfully meet their Practising Certificate (PC) renewal requirements through diverse SSR activities and available resources.

Radiation Therapists from the Radiation Therapy (RT) Journal Club will also share how platforms such as the Integral Dose podcast and academic discussions contribute meaningfully to continuous professional development.

The 2023 ISRRT Chesney Research Fund is OPEN for application.

Theme: Artificial Intelligence in Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy

You are invited to propose a research project/proposal. The project may include improved or newly developed methodology or modification to standard protocols and procedures which may result in a sustainable or improved quality service in the respective discipline of medical imaging and radiation therapy.

The grant is £1500 (1 year project) and £3000 (2 year project)
